Abstract  The principle for the calibration of working radiation thermometer with fixed emissivity is discussed and analyzed. It is necessary to apply the surface radiation source in the calibration, the emissivity of which could be consistent with that of thermometer to ensure the accuracy of temperature quantity value transfer. The temperature errors from the deviation of both emissivities are also discussed, and the error calculation formula is given, in the case of 0.95(emissivity)and 700 K(temperature) the maximum temperature error is up to 15 K.The radiation thermometers could directly measure the pratical temperatures for the targets, if the emissivity of target is the same as that of thermometer.
