Abstract  The general principle for uncertainty evaluation of enzyme activity measurement is presented based on previous experiment.Totally five steps toward the uncertainty evaluation of enzyme activity measurement are introduced, including the principle of experimental condition selection and optimization, uncertainty source analysis, uncertainty component and combination graph drawing, sensitivity factor and uncertainty component calculation, standard combination uncertainty and expanded uncertainty calculation. The principle presented will lay a foundation for the accuracy and validity in the enzyme activity measurement and enzyme activity certified reference material production.
