Calibration Data Processing and Volume Table Generation for a Tank |

Abstract The method of calibration data analysis and volume table generation for a horizontal storage tank are presented, which is based on cubic smoothing spline and symmetric mapping algorithm. It is used to solve the problem such as incline, expansion and creep caused by topography, temperature, pressure. The problem will cause the uncertainty of capacity. At the same time, a system about the calibration data analysis of horizontal storage tank and the volume table is established. The feasibility of this method is verified by case analysis and comparison. The field-application shows that it is valid to process calibration date of the horizontal storage tank.
