Abstract The measured vehicle wheel speed signal is processed respectively by Kalman filter and tradition filter method.The analysis indicates that the wheel angle acceleration signal processed by Kalman filter can show the operation process of ABS system more really than traditional filter, and proves that the Kalman filtering is an effective means to wheel speed signal processing of ABS system. So that the control algorithm of ABS system with Kalman filter can prevent the wheel lock during braking and improve the direction stability of vehicle brake more effectively.
