Abstract Ultrasonic transducer is an important part in ultrasonic NDT (nondestructive testing), and the parameter of the transducer directly affect the calibration and evaluation of ultrasonic testing system performance. The visualization of spatial ultrasound data obtained by high accuracy space scanning system and the measurement of several acoustic parameters based on visualization are presented. The measured results are consistent with that of theory value. Experiment results show that visualization directly can characterize ultrasonic field and provide the basis of reliable measurement and assess for ultrasound transducer.
