Abstract The coil constant is an important parameter of field coil. Analysis of the causes of coil constant frequency response, puts forward measurement method based on the induction coil, and uses the measurement of relative ratio to eliminate the measurement error. The three section of the Bakel ring magnetic field frequency response measurement results show that, the results of theoretical analysis of the method is consistent with the actual measured results.
