Study on Ultrasonic Imaging Devices for Liquid-solid Two-phase Flow |

Abstract To constitute a data acquisition system for ultrasonic projections, piezoelectric ultrasonic sensors, sensor array, sending and receiving circuits for ultrasound were made. With the liquid-solid two-phase flow of water and sediment as research object, the projection data were collected by a computer. It is found that resonance frequency of the sensor is up to 200kHz, launch angle of the launching sensor is bigger, and receiving sensitivity of the receiving sensor is higher. The electromagnetic interference produced in the receiving sensor is eliminated significantly by RC filter. The way of alternate arrangement of the sensors can make system to get the largest number of projection data, and make the design of circuits feasible to avoid mutual interference of signal. The projection data truly reflect the flow condition of solid phase.
