Study and Establishment for the Shock Acceleration Standard Based on Drop Hammer |

Abstract The shock exciter based on drop hammer is described, including its structure and principles. Combing with digitizer and virtual instrument, the shock comparison calibration system is established coincided with the method recommended by ISO16063—22. A comparison of shock waveform generated by the standard based on drop hammer and Hopkinson bar is carried out. And also the consistent calibration result between comparison method and primary method valid the reliability of the device, and finally the difference between vibration and shock calibration was discussed.
