Study on Dynamic Force Calibration of Axial Fatigue Testing Machines |

Abstract Based on the vibration analysis of mechanical model of electro-hydraulic-servo and electro-magnetic-resonant fatigue testing machines,the expressions of dynamic force errors of the two types of fatigue testing machines are derived. The main factors effect on amplitude of the inertial force,such as working frequency,mass and stiffness of gripping devices or specimen and so on,are analyzed. Based on the theoretic research,a series of comparison experiments of dynamic force calibration were carried out to test and verify the results of theoretic analysis. The correction of dynamic force error of fatigue testing machine is discussed,and the advice on choice of calibration devices and gripping devices is given.
