Abstract  A Josephson arbitrary waveform synthesizer(JAWS)is developed for synthesizing the AC Josephson voltage with the amplitude up to 1.2 V and the frequency up to 200 Hz.The experimental results show that Josephson ac voltage up to 200 Hz can be synthesized successfully and the uncertainty of synthesized 60 Hz waveform is less than 5 parts in 10-6.This research is the first step for to the establishment of our national AC Josephson voltage standard.
