Abstract Based on the hot air aging test methods,a device is created to test the aging performance of rubber, which has the ability to flush test samples in the circulation of atmosphere.The NBR is used as sample to test its aging performance under different temperature and atmosphere, and predict its use of time.The results show that when accelerated aging test under air atmosphere,the deviation of the predict results and actual use time is above 80%,the aging rate of NBR under gas environment is 1~2 times that of hot air, and when accelerated aging test undergas atmosphere, comparing the predict results and actual use time,the deviation is under 20%.
