Abstract To ensure the uniformity of the values of impulse voltage parameters in China, a method for synthesizing impulse voltage scale factors based on multi frequency component weighting is proposed.According to the Parseval’s theorem, a functional relationship between the impulse scale factor and the AC scale factor is established for the impulse voltage conversion device.The problem of tracing the transient and single waveform scale factor is transformed into the problem of obtaining the steady-state and periodic AC scale factor and calculating the frequency band weight.At the same time, the calculation error of the proposed evaluation method is better than 0.05% through analysis.Finally, an implementation method based on the mentioned synthesis method is proposed, and calculation validation based on the standard capacitor voltage divider is carried out, which expanded uncertainty is better than 0.02%.The results show that the proposed method for synthesizing the scale factor of impulse voltage based on multi frequency component weighting can accurately calculate the scale factor of impulse voltage.
