Laser Interferometry Measurement of Gas Pulse Pressure |

Abstract The non-contact measurement and traceability method of gas dynamic pressure were studied. A device based on laser interferometry for gas pulse pressure measurement was established. The amplitude and pulse width of pulse pressure were calculated by the relationship between optical path and pressure. The dynamic pressure measurement model was established, and the uncertainty of measurement was analyzed.Experimental measurement of gas pulse pressure using laser interferometry was carried out, synchronous measurements using dynamic pressure sensors and laser was conducted. The deviation of the measurement results using laser interferometry is small, which verifies the accuracy of the device measurement. The results showed that the pulse pressure signal generated by the device is stable and reliable. The optical measurement signal has the advantages of real-time, non-contact, traceability and so on. The measurement of the gas pulse pressure can be realized. The relative standard deviation of the measurement is less than 0.8%, and the uncertainty of the measurement result is less than 2% (k=2).
