Abstract Aimed at the problems that it is lack of the study on camera calibration of more-cameras stereo photogrammetry,and it is no way to satisfy the need of the high precision industrial measurement via the reliability and stability and the precision of the presently technique. Base on the quaternions theory and coplanarity equation,and the new techniques of camera calibration in the trinocular stereo photogrammetry system is proposed,which efficaciously resolves the question of the real-time high precision calibration in industrial field measurement,and the measurement precision of calculated object points coordinates (RMS) is better than ±2mm,the distance precision is better than ±3mm in the test.
