Abstract The development of SO2F2 in helium gas reference material in cylinder is reported.The standard reference gas mixture is prepared by filling SO2F2 pure gas and high purity He into a cylinder.The influences of gas pressure in cylinder and the time of storage to the stability of the gas mixture are studied.The homogeneity of gas mixtures is also checked as while as the uncertainty evaluation from it.The results show that the homogeneity is good for each concentration level.The uncertainty from gravimetric method and stability are also evaluated.The relative extended uncertainty of SO2F2 reference material made by gravimetric method is not bigger than 2%,with good stability within six months.
