Abstract To measure the phase angle precisely at high voltage loss calibration, a precision phase angle measurement system was developed based on dual channels digital sampling technology. The system mainly made up of two digitizes, one programmable switches set and one amplitude and phase measurement software to measure phase angle, and expand range through voltage dividers and shunts. The system could be self calibrated automatic, and it can correct system phase measurement errors, so it have excellent measurement performance at different phase angles,and phase measurement error can be verified at low power factor condition,its long term stability is also excellent, and uncertainty is less than 0.0005 degree at 50Hz power frequency. It can fulfill various electron-magnetism measurement applications.
