Development of Automatic Test System for Hand-held Digital Multimeter Based on Robotics |

Abstract To design an automatic calibration of the hand-held digital multimeter (DMM), which based on mechanical arm and machine vision. This paper describes the composition of the system, develops the automatic test program, the motion control system of the manipulator and the machine vision recognition system. This system can solve the problem of equipment calibration which can not be used for program-controlled communication or equipment calibration with high labor intensity, high repeatability and high risk. Recently, it has been verified by experimental test results that the system fully meets the requirements of relevant national standards, and has the advantages of high test efficiency and strong stability, which can reduce the labor cost to 30% of the original working mode.
