Establishment of Environmental Level X-ray Radiation Qualities and Research of the Calibration Methods of Monitoring Instruments |

Abstract With the establishment and operation of radiation environment monitoring network, radiation environment automatic monitoring is an important means to ensure nuclear and radiation safety supervision. In order to ensure the accurate measurement of environmental monitoring dosimeters at low dose rate, it is necessary to trace and calibrate its measurement value. A series of low air-kerma radiation qualities were established. The dose-rate was about 25μGy/h. Three different types environment monitoring radiation dosimeters were calibrated in these radiation and the energy response was obtained. The performance differences of these instruments were compared. The radiation field quantities provide the basis in measurement in very low dose rate.
