Abstract Serratia marcescens was traditionally used as microbiology indicator of biological protection evaluation. Nutrient agar tablet coating method for Serratia marcescens were validated, collaborative experimental verified, and uncertainty analyzed. The results showed that nutrient agar tablet coating method had a good repeatability and reproducibility, the interassay relative standard deviations was 8.93%, and external laboratory relative standard deviations was 14.95%. The statistic test showed that the relative expanded uncertainty of nutrient agar tablet coating method was 12.60% (k=2), which could be used for quantitative measurement of Serratia marcescens.
