Abstract A full-port impedance mismatch model based on signal flow analysis and the corresponding mismatch correction formula for antenna gain is developed, and the impedance mismatch correction value can be obtained by using measured scattering parameters at each port. The impedance mismatch correction uncertainty and its probability distribution evaluation using Monte Carlo method is proposed. This work provides an effective method for scientific and systematic evaluation of extrapolation gain measurement uncertainty.
